The Uses of Spell Candles

The use of spell candles in magic has been around for hundreds of years. But, it is not as simple a practice as some might think and has to be repeated over several days to ensure the spell works. The candles need to be put somewhere where the concentration of the person using them is not going to be interrupted. A quiet room, away from others is best. One can use any type of candle, though many shops will sell candles that have been readied for spells, as long as they have been freed of any negative energy. They must also never have been lit before being used for a spell. A used candle can bring with it secondhand vibes that can interfere with the spell being used.
The next step, before casting the spell, is making the link between the candle and the person about to cast the spell. This is done by giving the candle your energy. The term used for this is dressing the candle. You do this by touching the candle, and so putting your own personal energy into it to ready the candle for its use. This is also a means to put an early focus into the spell candles of the purpose you wish to use them for.
Before you begin you must be certain that you have the right candle for the purpose that you intend on using it for. The color of the spell candles you use will correlate directly with a particular outcome. A red candle will be used for love and energy. These are best to cast spells related to passion, for energy, as a curative or to help with bravery. Blue candles cast spells with a more calming outcome. These include companionship, optimism, inspiration, tolerance or wisdom. The white candle speaks to what most people think of white stands for; purity, truth, happiness and peace. Yet, black does not stand for bad or evil as many people assume. The black ones are for protection. They can also help a person put on binding or repelling spells.
There are still many more spell candles that can be used. Brown ones deal mostly with animal magic or helping to find things that have been mislaid. They also can help to cast friendship spells. Orange works for attraction and success. This is the candle to use if you were trying to seal a spell that has been cast already. A spell that has to do with good luck in gambling will use a silver candle. While someone trying to cast a spell to strengthen a psychic ability will use purple because it is used for all kinds of spiritual growth. Pink is for fidelity, friendship and honor. Green should be used for success and other money related spells. Yellow spell candles affect several different aspects of a person’s life. They can be used to give confidence, to increase someone’s mental capabilities, understand visions, or bring luck to the purchase of a new home. Then there is grey. Using a grey candle to cast spells with produces of neutrality. This is for someone who wants to cast a spell but not have any outside influence.
